20 Apr 07 Wipro Declares Dividend

Wipro Ltd has informed the Indian stock exchanges that, the Board of directors of Wipro, at their meeting held on April 20, 2007 have recommended a dividend of 50%, which works out to Rs.1 per equity share of face value Rs.2 each. The dividend is subject to statutory approval by the shareholders of Wipro at the ensuing AGM. The Wipro stock closed marginallyÃ‚Â down today.
