26 May 08 Bank of Rajasthan bonus issue proposed
Bank of Rajasthan has informed the stock exchanges that the board of the Bank of Rajasthan will meet on 31 May 2008 to consider a proposal to issue bonus shares to the shareholders of the bank. The record date for the bonus issue and the ratio of the Bank of Rajasthan bonus issue will only be known after the outcome of the scheduled board meeting is made public by the company on May 31. The same will be informed to investors, in this space. The stock market greeted this announcement and the shares of Bank of Rajasthan were up by about 6% after the bonus issue announcement was made.
