Parsvnath Royale Villas is the next township project lined up by Parsvnath Developers. Parsvnath Royale Villas will be a township project which will have a five star and a three star luxury hotel. The combined room capacity of these luxury hotels would be more than 475 rooms. Luxury villas of 1,800 sq ft, 2,250 sq ft and 2,700 sq ft will be constructed in the Jodhpur City township in the first phase of the project.
Shares of Sobha Developers moved up smartly based on reports that Sobha Developers has partnered with two other Indian real estate firms, to develop an integrated township in Gurgaon, Haryana. The Integrated Township will be built on a land parcel of 192 acres and the total development area being 65 lakh square feet. The Gurgaon Integrated Township project will require an investment of Rs. 2000 crores from the 3 companies. Apart from Sobha Developers, QVC Realty and Chintels India are the other companies in the consortium.
Indian Real estate major DLF Universal is learnt to have bagged the Bidadi knowledge city township project in Karnataka. Bidadi Knowledge City will come up approximately 30 km away from Bangalore and 15 km from Mysore. The joint venture partner for DLF for the Bidadi knowledge city project is Limitless Holdings, a part of Nakheel and Dubai World group. The Bidadi knowledge city township will have a dedicated metro rail connection to Bangalore city. The township will also have malls, multiplexes, hotels and serviced apartments apart from offices and residential appartments.
Leading real estate company Omaxe last week announced the launch of its new integrated township project called “PDA Omaxe City, Baran Patiala“. PDA Omaxe City, Baran Patiala will be located at Sir Hind Road, Baran, Patiala, Punjab. PDA Omaxe City is an Omaxe – Patiala Urban Development Authority PPP project. The Omaxe stock was up by almost 10% as soon as this announcement was made.
DLF has officially confirmed that it has won the Durgapur Integrated Township project. On 14th of this month, ET had reported that DLF was likely to win the Durgapur Integrated Township project since there were no other serious bidders. News was out yesterday that DLF has indeed won the Durgapur Integrated Township project. Out of 12 companies which participated in the bidding process, 4 were shortlisted. From the 4 shortlisted companies, DLF was selected and awarded the project. The Durgapur Integrated Township project is expected to be completed in 2011. The Asansol Durgapur Development Authority has proposed 900 plots for Low income group and 500 plots for High income group. The Durgapur Integrated Township project will be developed by DLF over 95 acres of land.
Sobha Developers informed the stock exchanges this morning that it is working with the Kerala Government to build Sobha Hitech City which would be Kerala’s largest Township. Sobha Developers has entered into an MOU with the Kerala Government for the Sobha Hitech City Township project. Kerala Government has already approved the MOU for the township project. Sobha Hitech City will be an integrated township built on 400 acres of land with an investment of Rs. 5000 crores.
Omaxe Limited, which recently got listed in the stock markets, has informed the stock exchanges that Omaxe Buildhome pvt ltd which is a 100% subsidiary of Omaxe Limited, will soon launch Ultra Luxury and Premium range of appartments in Noida which is in the fast developing NCR region. The project has been named “The Forest Spa” and will consist of Premium range appartments and penthouses. “The Forest Spa” will be located at Sector 93B, Noida, U.P. and will consist of 176 appartments / penthouses constructed over an area of 8 acres.
There are rumours in the market that DLF has bagged a 9000 acre township project in Bangalore. If the rumour turns out to be true, then investors who held the DLF shares alloted in the IPO, till date or bought it after listing, would benefit from the rise in DLF stock prices as and when the announcement is made public by DLF through the stock exchanges. I missed the DLF IPO fearing the IPO was overpriced. But, even though the listing premium of DLF was low, the overall returns offered by the DLF IPO works out to be much higher than many other IPO’s which enjoyed higher listing gains, since in the case of DLF, full allotment was made whereas in the case of other IPO’s the allotment made was very low (due to heavy oversubscription)
Lanco Infratech Limited has informed the stock exchanges that Lanco Horizon Properties, a Lanco Infratech group company would take up joint development of about 47.6 acres of land located near the SIPCOT Industrial Estate on the IT Highway at Siruseri on the Old Mahabalipuram Road (OMR) in the outskirts of Chennai city. The Lanco Infratech stock seems to be a good buy, considering the order book size and its new ventures.

Ansal Properties & Infrastructure has informed that Sushant Taj City will be built in 460 acres of land and will have educational institutions, hospitals, clubs, hotels and multiplexes.
