Hi bullish,
Is it like, the people subscribed on first day will get preference over allocation when compared to people who subscribed on 2nd or 3rd day?
Thanks,
@Balaji
No there is nothing like that. All applications are treated equal (provided there is no technical error in filling). However be careful while applying on last day as there is a cut off time for that and sometime the receiving agent may not be able to upload data if lot of applications are received at last moment.
Thanks for your quick reply…
Can you tell me on wat basis they are alloting the shares?
Is it like people applied for 30k have less preference compared to those applied for 1 lak?
Can u tell about the lottery allocation, in short?
@Balaji
Allotment is done on proportionate basis so people applying for 1 lakh will have more chance of getting allotment then who is applying 30K however if you are applying more than 1 lakh then equation changes as that application goes in High Net worth other then retail (1 lakh and less).
Hi,
In Hindu Business line, they have advised to avoid the central bank issue. I was planning to invest some 50K in it. Which one will be a better pick, CBI or Asian Granito? SInce I dont have enough funds, I can go for only one of these.
Regards
Ann

Kindly let me know when CBI is going to be listed.
If they didn’t allocate to me, then how they will refund the amount. wether they will deposit to my trade acount or they will send a cheque through courier?
hi bullish,
Can u say me will the amount of investment be a factor in allocating the no: of shares per person in IPO. or a person will get only one slot(the minimum coated by the firm) what ever the amount is invested..
@senthil – Yes the number of shares applied for is a factor which determines your chances of allotment. More lots u apply, more your probability of getting allotment in an IPO which is heavily oversubscribed.
