India is all set to get its first hybrid car. Honda Siel Cars India has launched its Honda Civic Hybrid range of cars in India. Honda Civic Hybrid which would cost a whooping 22 lakhs, will get the honour of becoming India’s first and only Hybrid car. If the Honda Civic Hybrid becomes successful, then it is understood that Honda Siel would launch many other models of its Hybrid cars.

Govt. should remove any tax from sale/purchase/manufacture/import of such cars. This will boost the sales and hence further decrease the price. We need such strong steps from Indian Govt to reduce our carbon footprint.
