29 Aug 07 Power Grid Corporation IPO : Power Grid IPO opens on 10th
Power Grid Corporation, a PSU power distribution company, is coming out with an IPO through the Book Building process. The Power Grid Corporation IPO will open for subscription on Monday, September 10th 2007 and will close for subscription on Thursday, September 13th 2007. The price band for the Power Grid Corporation IPO is between Rs. 44 to Rs. 52 per share. The funds raised from the Power Grid Corp IPO will go to the National Investment Fund (NIF). as powergrid corp .is a big issue around 2500 crore..i dont expect it will cross oversubscription by 2 times in retail category perticularly …
So their would be high chances of allotment and gain is sure…
Gray market premium is 10 -12 rupees i.e. 20-25%
gray market premium will increase after allotment ..
So go for powergrid as much u can..

subscription details.. youwould find this IPO oversubscribed on an average around 59 times. the retail categoryoversubscribed byaround 5 times. QIB category by around 115 times, & HNI category by around 64 times….
