03 Jan 08 Reliance Power IPO Subscription Date announced

Reliance Power IPO Subscription opens on Tuesday, January 15, 2008. I’m sure everyone’s already started to accumulate funds to invest in the Reliance Power IPO. History stands testimony that such a big issue is definitely bound to give decent returns to retail investors since the retail investor category will not get heavily oversubscribed incase of IPO’s with a huge issue size. Reliance Power IPO is set to be the biggest of them all and here is a chnace for retail investors to make some risk free returns. I’ve already arranged funds to apply for maximum shares in my name and in the name of three of my family members ;-) . Reliance Power IPO will be open for subscription only for 4 days since the IPO closes for subscription on Friday, January 18, 2008. Reliance Power IPO will be fully covered in this blog and details including Reliance Power IPO Subscription details and Reliance Power IPO Allotment status will be posted here as and when they are available.

what do you think of Rel Power? Assuming that there is an allotment, should one sell at listing or wait for it to accumulate?

It will be at least two years before the company sees some revenues, let alone profits. Meanwhile if the stock falls like Reliance petro did last year, one can accumulate. On the the other hand, if doesn’t then there is a notional loss.

Will I have any advantage if I apply for teh Reliambce power IPO through reliance money Demat Account

  17. |

    hi,
lets say that the issue gets more than 4 times subscribed. now if i have taken payment method 2 ie paid 25% of the full amount. In this case i need not pay anything extra after the allotment as i will get 4 times less shares i had bid for. So will i be able to sell my shares on the listing day itself?

  18. |

Does applying at cut-off price means you are at disadvantage. if others have app.lied at upper level of band then will they get shares first and than the ones at cut-off price.

What is advantage of payment option 2 than payment option 1?

    Hi Team,
I have applied for 225 share of reliance power @ rs. 115 per share. I have paid partly payment. So, there is any clause that after allotment, i can sell these share after 25 days of listing. please reply me on my mail id. my mail id is this sumit.mehra29@yahoo.com
