14 Jan 08 SBI Rights Issue Record Date fixed
SBI has fixed the record date for its rights issue. SBI Rights Issue Record Date has been fixed as Monday, February 04, 2008. SBI Rights Issue Price will be updated here shortly. Shareholders of State Bank of India who’s names appear on the company’s register of shareholders on the record date, will get the rights issue. Is there a specific timeperiod i should have owned SBI shares to appli for rights issue.
If i buy SBI shares in last week of Jan or first of Feb, will i be eligilble to apply for rights issue?
I usually transact though an online DMat account. Please suggest the right time to buy SBI shares and any minimum number of them before the rights issue.
