17 Apr 07 Sumeet Industries Ltd. has fixed record date for issue of bonus shares

Sumeet Industries Ltd. has fixed 27th April as the Record Date for the purpose of Bonus Issue. The bonus shares will be issued to existing shareholders, as per the books of records of the company on the record date, in the ratio of ONE Bonus equity Share for every TEN existing equity shares held. The EX- Bonus date is 26th April.

   I have bought this share on 26 th April,2007.Will I get the bonus?

   No Saptak,

   You are not eligible for the bonus since you have bought the shares after the shares of summet industries went ex bonus. You will need to buy shares before the ex date to be eligible for bonus, dividend, rights issue and so on

   Does anybody know if the shares will be added to demat acconts automatically. When they must reflect in the portfolio?

   it might take upto 1 month for the shares to be reflected in your demat account
