09 Nov 07 UTI Mutual Fund IPO early next year

UTI Mutual Fund IPO is likely to hit the markets in the first quarter of the coming calender year. UTI Mutual Fund IPO would be the first IPO made by a Mutual Fund. UTI Mutual Fund will be India’s first mutual fund to be listed and traded on a stock exchange. UTI Mutual Fund plans to do a pre IPO placement of about 20% of the company’s equity capital before the IPO, with a private equity player.
