Leading Indian real estate and construction company, Parsvnath Developers, has recently informed the stock exchanges that it is all set to launch an ultra modern township called Parsvnath Paliwal City in sector 38 and 39 of Panipat. Parsvnath Paliwal City is located near Devilal Choudhary Park and is spread over 162 acres. Mr. Sanjeev Jain who is the Managing Director of Parsvnath Developers said, “Parsvnath Paliwal City is built keeping in mind the opportunities to explore the huge demand for quality services in Panipat”
01 Jun 07 Sobha Developers enters retail under Sobha Restoplus brand
Bangalore based real estate firm Sobha Developers has recently entered into the booming retailing business with the launch of Sobha Lifestyle. Sobha Developers through Sobha Lifestyle has invested Rs. 17 crores on the spring mattresses business and will see these mattresses under the brand name Sobha Restoplus. Sobha Lifestyle has recently received an order for the Sobha Restoplus spring mattresses from Infosys Technologies worth Rs. 2.40 crores.
11 May 07 Sobha Developers Kerala Project
Sobha Developers has informed the Indian Stock Exchanges that it will commence its integrated township project called Sobha City in Kerala on Sunday, 13 May 2007. Sobha City will be developed in 71 acres of land. Sobha City would consist of residential as well as commercial complexes. Sobha City is expected to be completed in five years time. Sobha City is a joint venture between Sobha Developers and Tree Hill Estates.
08 May 07 Dabur India : Retail Venture
Dabur India plans to enter the booming Indian Retail industry and is likely to setup about 350 retail stores. Dabur India however will not use the Dabur brand for the retail venture. A new company called Health and Beauty Store Limited has been incorporated by Dabur for its retail venture. However Dabur has not yet announced what logo and brandname it will use for the retail venture. With stiff competition from Reliance Retail, Pantaloons and other already established companies, Dabur is likely to have a tough time establishing itself in its retail venture. Dabur has announced that its first retail store will be launched in January 2008.
08 May 07 Maruti Udyog’s new car
Maruti Udyog Limited, on monday May 07 2007, informed the Indian stock exchanges about the launch of its new car, a SX4 sedan. The SX4 sedan is powered by the global M series engine and built on a completely new platform. SX4 sedan gets the previlege of being only the second global car launched in India, after SWIFT, by Suzuki Motor Corporation. After being launched in India, the SX4 Sedan will be launched in Europe and Japan. The SX4 Sedan will be manufactured by Maruti Udyog Limited, at the company’s manufacturing facility at Manesar.
Maruti Udyog Limited has priced SX4 Sedan between Rs.6 and 7 lakhs. SX4 Sedan will be competiting head-on with the popular Indian car Honda city, which costs roughly about Rs.50,000 more than SX4 Sedan. The other competitiors for SX4 Sedan would be Hyundai Verna and Ford Fiesta.
